This model is a gem-set variation of the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked 25829 and notably carries the small box numbers associated with that reference (see article on Royal Oak box numbering).
Crafted entirely in platinum (PT), the first example was sold in 1999. The seven subsequent pieces combine platinum and steel (SP) and were sold between 2003 and 2012, in New York (2003), Singapore (2009), Italy (2009), and Switzerland (2012).
