Calibre 2120/2801 is an evolution of Calibre 2120/2800, enhanced by the addition of a week indicator. This feature is displayed via a central hand that points to a scale encircling the dial, numbered 2 to 52.

Introduced in 1995, this calibre remained in production until approximately 2000.

It was used in the Royal Oak ref. 25810, a limited edition of just 120 pieces. However, it is most prominent in the Millenary collection, noteably in reference 25777. Total production is estimated to have been limited to only a few hundred units.

The week indication made its return in 2015 with Calibre 5134, which remained in production until 2025. Its direct successor, Calibre 7138, was unveiled to mark Audemars Piguet's 150th anniversary. This new calibre features a crown that adjusts all indications of the perpetual calendar.
