Calibre 2124/2810 consists of a basic selfwinding mechanism (2124) to which watchmakers added the 2810 cadrature, also known as the 2810 module, which indicates the day and date.
Calibre 2124/2810 equipped four Royal Oak Day Date models: Model 5572 nicknamed “Owl" (1983, 1,770 units); Model 5581 (1983, 9 units); 5584 (1983, 1 unit); and Model 25577 (1985, 1 unit). This additional mechanism also appeared in 2009 in Calibre 2324/2810 for the Royal Oak 26330.
In addition, Calibre 2124/2810 and its successor 2224/2810 (1997) equipped several round watches, notably Models 5573, 5574, 5587 in 1984, 25748 in 1993, as well as the Millenary 25779 from 1997.
Presented one year after the 2810, the 2825 cadrature was equipped with a moon phase. It remained in the catalogue until the beginning of the 21st century, notably on the Royal Oak 25594 and its derivatives. One should also mention the legendary 2800 perpetual calendar cadrature created in 1978 for Calibre 2120, which equipped generations of Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar since 1984 and remained in the catalogue until circa 2015.
