4331, Royal Oak High Jewellery

Royal Oak 4331

35 mm | Hours, minutes, date | Calibre 2123

Model 4331 is a fully gemset derived version of Model 4100. It is probably the very first Royal Oak in the field of Haute Joaillerie. The top of the bezel is adorned with 32 brilliant-cut diamonds, while the case middle features 82 brilliant-cut diamonds and each bracelet link has three horizontal rows comprising a total of 460 brilliant-cut diamonds. Add to that the 10 stones on the dial and the watch sparkles with 584 brilliant-cut diamonds.

To date, only two Model 4331 watches have been identified in the Audemars Piguet records. The first, in yellow gold, was sold in Singapore on April 9, 1982. The second, in white gold, was delivered to Abu Dhabi the following year. Their small Royal Oak numbers belong to Model 4100.
