Since 1997, the Royal Oak Offshore Models 25770, 25808 and 25151 with leather straps been interpreted in brightly coloured variants.
In June 1999, Audemars Piguet decided to create five one of-a-kind Royal Oak Offshore Jewellery 30 mm models with alligator leather straps in different colours: green, yellow, orange, pastel pink and pastel blue.
All bear the number 1 and combine a steel case with a white gold bezel set with 32 coloured baguette-cut sapphires. They feature a mother-of-pearl dial delicately painted in the colour of the gemstones.
The watches were delivered between April and November 2000 in Italy and Saint-Barthélemy/St. Barts (le village dans le canton de vaud ou l’île St. Barts?). None have reappeared on the auction market since that date.
