Presented in 1992 to mark the 20th anniversary of the Royal Oak, Reference 14789 went on sale the following year. It features an openworked version of the ultra-thin selfwinding calibre that already equipped the first Royal Oak – but without the date indication. Another distinctive feature lies in the hands set with tiny diamonds.
After an initial platinum version, the reference was mainly available in yellow gold, with a few two-tone variations in platinum and pink gold, a rare and distinctive blend of colours.
Total: 40 units from 1993 to 2003.
Platinum version (PT) sold from 1993 to 2003: a total of 3 units, of which 1 (1993), 1 (1996) and 1 (2003).
Yellow gold version (BA) sold from 1994 to 1998: a total of 34 units, of which 2 (1994), 20 (1997) and 12 (1998).
Version in platinum and pink gold (PR) sold from 1995 to 1997: a total of 3 units, of which 1 (1995), 1 (1996), 1 (1997).
Derived models: 14814
