15073, Royal Oak Haute Joaillerie

Royal Oak 15073

30 mm | Hours, minutes | Calibre 2003SQ | Bracelet 902 | Water-resistant to 20 metres | Launch date: 1999.

Entirely paved with brilliant-cut diamonds, Model 15073 is a work of both Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie.

Its ultra-thin (1.64 mm) mechanism in 14-carat gold is entirely skeletonised and engraved by hand. Its hands are set using a method exclusive to Audemars Piguet , while the hour-markers take the form of small emeralds set on tiny chatons fixed to a sapphire crystal dial barely thicker than a sheet of paper.

This one-of-a-kind timepiece was unveiled in Germany in 1999 and joined the Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet collection in 2018.

1 BC (white gold) example set with brilliant-cut diamonds sold in 1999.

Derived from Model 14794.
